All traffic between your computer and CosmoLex law firm software is protected by 256-bit SSL encryption, the same data protection used by major online banks. All of your data is stored encrypted (encryption at rest), which means you and your clients are protected at all times.

Two-factor Authentication (2FA)

In addition to a username and password, 2FA sends a verification code via SMS to your mobile phone to enable access.

In addition to infrastructure-level security controls, you can assign security levels, roles, and access privileges at the user level

Backups

Your data is backed up automatically every few hours, so you never have to worry about losing information or work. Your backups are stored encrypted, in multiple locations so it’s protected by redundancies, too.
